Here is a pruning day that you will not want to miss!

This class will be in western Loudoun County perched on top of a mountain. It will be our kick-off to winter pruning, and, because our host doesn't care about losing flowers for one season, we'll also cover some summer and dormant-season pruning as well.

We will cover a variety of species and the proper method of pruning each one:

  • Crape myrtle
  • Mock orange
  • Rhododendron
  • Azaleas
  • Dogwoods
  • Cherry
  • Red buds
  • Flowering quince
  • Viburnums
  • Junipers and a few more

Class begins at 10am. We will prune until 2pm with a break for lunch. You provide the lunch, and we provide drinks. Bring hand pruners, handsaw and your artful spark.

The cost of this class is $40.00 mailed with your registration form. Call or email Peter for directions to the site. His telephone number is (703) 501-0417, and his email address is nobigdeahl@verizon.net.

We look forward to seeing and working with you!
